President Donald Trump just dropped one of the most explosive warnings of this entire Iran confrontation, posting on Truth Social: “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP.” Multiple current outlets and live reports quoted that post verbatim on April 4, 2026, as Trump tied the ultimatum to his earlier ten-day deadline over the Strait of Hormuz.

This is not merely another political post. This is the language of countdown, consequence and collision. Trump is telling Iran that the clock is nearly spent, that the deadline is real, and that failure to comply will bring devastating force. The Strait of Hormuz is not some minor patch of water. It is one of the most strategic choke points on the face of the earth, and whenever that narrow passage is threatened, the whole world feels it. Oil markets feel it, shipping lanes feel it, militaries feel it, and world governments feel it. So when Trump says “open up the Hormuz Strait” and attaches a 48-hour warning to it, he is not playing word games. He is putting the entire region on notice.

Iran offered the European Union (EU) transit access through the Strait of Hormuz. Sounds like a small diplomatic move. It is not.  The offer is a financial nuclear bomb.

The Hormuz Strait carries 20% of ALL the world's oil

Europe's energy bill jumped $16.2 BILLION in just 30 days

Natural gas in Europe is up 100%. Oil up 60%. Diesel at $200/barrel

Dollar reserves have already fallen from 70% to 56.9% in 25 years

If Europe takes this deal, they pay in euros — not dollars

One major non-dollar oil deal is all it takes to show the world it CAN be done.

Iran Refuses Meetings/Discussions with USA 

Numerous countries in the Middle East have been lobbying Iran to agree to a meeting with the US in Islamabad. 

Iran has flatly and repeatedly refused to meet or have any discussions at all with the US.

Iran's semi-official Fars news agency has said the country has rejected a US proposal for a 48-hour ceasefire, citing an unnamed source.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal has reported that Iran officially told mediators it is unwilling to meet US officials in Islamabad in the coming days.

Earlier this week, Iran's foreign minister said the country will only accept a permanent end to the war and not a ceasefire.

• The White House said that U.S. President Donald Trump will deliver a prime-time address on Wednesday evening to update the public on the Iran war.
• Trump told reporters Tuesday that the responsibility for keeping the Strait of Hormuz open should belong with countries that rely on it, rather than the U.S. He said there’s “no reason for us to do this.” Trump expressed frustration earlier Tuesday with allies who have been unwilling to do more to support the U.S. war effort, telling them to “go get your own oil.” Trump recently has vacillated between insisting there is progress in diplomatic talks with Iran and threatening to widen the war. • Bob...I think he's realised he isn't winning any war. With a lot more US servicemen dead and around 500 wounded, some seriously, and others hiding (so some are saying) in hotels, maybe he has decided it's time to get out and leave the war to Israel.  At the same time he is telling the other Western leaders "Go get your own oil" as the strait of Hormuz stays closed to shipping "unfriendly" toward Iran. 
• All the bluster from President Trump about the talks going really well and "We had a really good day regarding the talks." is just hot air. Iran has said from the start they are not interested in talking.
• So maybe Trump is about announce they are about to take Iran's Kharg Island? Personally, I think he has decided against it.  I think he's looking for an exit door.
• For those of us who watch events with an eye on end times Bible Prophecy, this is very telling. The Bible shows in Zechariah 12 to 14  and in Joel the nations of the world coming against Israel and particularly Jerusalem. That is what we are seeing taking shape today. The war with Iran began with Israel and the USA attacking Iran. It has now taken a turn where the USA it seems is about to pick up their ball and leave the field for Israel to carry on without her. Israel's defences, I read the other day, are depleted which is why we see more Iranian missiles getting through, and striking their targets.   
• It would seem this is leaving the door open for the Antichrist to take centre stage ...maybe not immediately but for sure the groundwork seems to be laid out for him to hit the Prophecy spotlight centre stage.
