President Donald Trump is ‘driving like Jehu’ here in the first 25 days of his second term, (only 25 days!) as if driven by unseen forces to complete a Herculean task in a short period of time. He has seemingly formed an alliance with Mohammed bin Salman to assist in brokering an end to the Russia Ukraine War, leveraging $600 billion in Saudi investment in the US, and helping Trump to possibly take control of Gaza and the West Bank.
The Abraham Accords have drastically and radically reshaped the Middle East, and the ‘white whale’ on everyone’s radar is the signing of the Accords between Saudi Arabia and Israel. Netanyahu wants that to happen on his watch so badly and you can hear it in his voice when he talks about it. But as everyone who follows these things know, the ‘price to play’ in the Abraham Accords is the Two State Solution, and nothing less. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with Mohamed bin Zayed, author of the Abraham Accords, are in a league with Donald Trump and big change is coming to the Middle East.
